The energy in this place is amazing. It has a laid back family owned, come get a coffee & do some deep thinking work kind of vibe. The girl who took my order (Carter) was very sweet & kind answering all of my requests with a positive energy. I didn’t have the chance to try any of the sweets as I’m on a no sugar other then natural sugars from fruit diet but anywho, I will definitely be back soon. It is right next to the Courtyard Marriot (connected actually) and is relatively cheap coffee wise. Go check it out

Today was the grand opening of Anita's Cafe. The space is open and bright. They are still working on some of the flow and logistics the wait was a bit long. I had to leave to get to work. I will go back for food and add to my review at that time. There is a bakery counter, sandwiches pre made and to order. It's my understanding that dietary changes are an option. I did see a vegan item on the menu. There is a lot of excitement about Anita reopening. It has great access for people staying at the hotel and for city employees coming into work and on breaks. Staff is always has been friendly and helpful.

5/5 would highly recommend. Amazing coffee options, decent amount of seating inside and out, beautiful and delicious desserts, they filled the cannoli with me watching so you know it’s going to be good, and vanilla gelato was amazing. Was a much needed and great break spot!

Came out in a timely manner. Good selections of desserts and foods. My baked good was the peanut butter explosion! I also got a honey lavender latte with strawberry cold foam and a pump of strawberry syrupy. Absolutely delicious perfectly sweet and great taste for the lavender. I got the Sicilian ball and it was so tasty. They are very accommodating to my additional preferences and heated it up for extra crisp! Nice place to read too. I like that I’ve seen them fix problems with a smile and real concern, such a good quality for a business to have. The tiramisu and cannoli cakes looked so tasty too!

This was our second time hitting up Anita’s, this time I wanted to try some food. The inside is open and so bright, the simplistic display of all the amazing pastries and sandwiches was beautiful, and they had flavored iced tea!! They can flavor black, green, or berry iced tea in pretty much anything you would like. I settled for peach and it was so delicious. The chicken salad on croissant was the best chicken salad I have had in a long time. You have the option of cold or toasted. There was a healthy amount of onion, celery, walnut, and cranberries mixed in. My boyfriend enjoyed his house salad with artichoke, capers, and fresh mozzarella. He also ordered the bulletproof coffee with lavender, which he loved. Everything we order from there is so fresh and just plain yummy. It is definitely one of our favorite local cafes.

Anita’s Cafe & Desert bar is just a few weeks old! Long story short, my boyfriend and I had stopped at a coffee shop down the road. We decided to go for a stroll while we sipped and stumbled upon Anita’s! We automatically knew it was new to the neighborhood and wanted to go in and just take a look. One of the baristas, Caroline, noticed I was drinking a Matcha, and offered to make me one on the house to try one of theirs. And I must say I was stunned at the quality compared to the one I was currently drinking!!! She explaied to me how they use powder and milk instead of mainly water. I also got the chance to meet the owner, Anita! She was so kind and we got a chance to chat about how she started this business. She even came over to introduce herself to my boyfriend as well. The staff here are all very friendly, and might mention the aroma from the fresh baked goods!! I can’t wait to visit this place more often & I plan to try everything they have to offer. I highly recommend stopping by if you are in downtown Fredericksburg! 10/10!!!

The cannoli was so good I couldn’t take a photo before I ate almost the entire thing. And the sugar free latte was perfect. Great place to sit and have a meal or a delicious dessert.

Walking in, the shop is very cute. The service was great, I was greeted upon entry. I rated the food/coffee a 4 due to the coffee not really being a top notch flavor that I expected. It tasted a little watered down. I got a raspberry danish (warmed), and a cinnamon spiced brown sugar latte (which I only tasted water, no cinnamon since it was sitting at the top). I would come back and deff order the latte without whipped cream on top.
